Weekly Training Information
. . . a team for runners of every level
Our Mission
“To train and motivate novice and veteran runners of all ages and ability levels to achieve their personal health, fitness, and athletic performance goals”

Team History
The 5Rivers Running Team was formed in 2007 after a need was recognized to coach, train, and mentor novice as well as veteran runners. The name 5Rivers relates to the five waterways (Great Miami River, Stillwater River, Mad River, Twin Creek, and Wolf Creek) in Dayton and Montgomery County area.

Who We Are . . .
As a team, our membership spans a broad range from recreational runners to veteran athletes. The majority of the members are recreational runners who participate in road races, marathons, trail runs, and/or multi-sport events during the year.

So who are we? We are individuals who win races and individuals who have not run a race yet. Some of us are training for another race and some of us are thinking about running our first race.

We have training shoes and we have racing flats. Some of us can run a marathon and some of us are working on running one mile non-stop. Some of us can run a 10k in less time than others can run a 5k.

In other words, if you are slow, fast, new to running, or a veteran runner, you will feel welcome in the 5Rivers Running Team.

Why We Are Different . . .
If you are new to running you will benefit from running with the 5Rivers Running Team. You will train alongside seasoned runners who can give you insights and training tips that will help you grow toward a running lifestyle.

The 5Rivers Running Team are runners with many years of training and racing experience (based on lessons learned). The 5Rivers Running Team can successfully train novice as well as veteran runners for any distance from 1500M to the marathon. The 5Rivers Running Team will help improve your running in a motivating and fun environment.

So, if you are you ready to hit the road or the track you are cordially invited to come to our weekly training sessions. See the training information link for details. For additional information about the 5Rivers Running Team please contact us at 5riverscoach@gmail.com.
