About Us
We are a grassroots registered USA Track & Field running club with a membership that spans a broad range of abilities from recreational runners to competitive veteran runners. The majority of the membership are recreational runners who participate in road races, marathons, trail runs, and/or multi-sport events throughout the year.

So who are we? We are individuals who win races and individuals who have not run a race yet. Some of us are training for another race and some of us are thinking about running our first race. We have training shoes and we have racing flats. Some of us can run a marathon and some of us are working on running one mile non-stop. Some of us can run a 10k in less time than others can run a 5k.

In other words, if you are slow, fast, new to running, or a veteran runner, you will feel welcome as a part of the 5Rivers Running Team.

Why We Are Different
If you are new to running you will benefit from running with the 5Rivers Running Team. You will train alongside seasoned runners who can give you insights and training tips that will help you grow toward a running lifestyle.

The 5Rivers Running Team are runners with many years of training and racing experience (based on lessons learned). We have many years of expereince and can successfully train novice as well as veteran runners at distances from 1500M to the marathon. The effort based training that we coach will help improve your running in a motivating and fun environment.

New to the area
If you are new to the Dayton area running community you will benefit from training with 5Rivers athletes who are at your training pace and fitness level.
